Joining the work force in following high school graduation, Jan began working for LMA, then known as the Certified Livestock Markets Association in the insurance agency under General Manager, Karl Heimke. Jan worked as a livestock claims clerk until when she shifted gears and became an assistant to the Region Executive Officers, a position she still fills today.

Through the years, Jan has learned a variety of jobs. Currently, Jan manages the accounts and records service, assists in HR matters and is an executive administrator to LMA management.

Jan cherishes the LMA family atmosphere and the team spirit encouraged by Mr. Brandi Clifford is a graduate of Maple Woods Community College, Kansas City, Missouri, with an Associate of Arts degree. Her work in the insurance industry began in as a Technical Assistant at Arthur J. Gallagher; working her way up to an Account Coordinator where she earned her Associate in Insurance Services in Brandi joined LMIA in as an Assistant Region Administrator and in joined the accounting department full time as an accounting assistant.

Brandi also works with membership services by keeping up the membership database and dues. Brandi is currently attending Maple Woods Community College again pursuing an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Accounting. Sharon joined the LMA family in and will celebrate 25 years of service in As the friendly voice of LMA she maintains the LMA switchboard, answering calls and greeting visitors.

Devoted to her family and two grandsons; just ask and she would be happy to brag about all of their activities. Lea Jones is a native Kansas City girl. Following her passion for numbers she has worked in accounting since In she was promoted to Senior Accountant and now holds the position of Accounting Manager.

At home, she takes care of and loves playing with her rescue pup, Maddie Rae , enjoys her four sons and multitude of grandchildren. A Pennsylvania native, Melanie graduated from California State College, Hayward and entered the workforce in California as a legal administrative assistant. She continued in the legal field for 10 years, eventually as a paralegal, after re-locating to Kansas. Melanie joined LMA in July as Director of Human Resources and administers HR functions including payroll, benefits, performance management, policy development and HR legal compliance.

Morgan graduated in from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in Accounting. Doug began his tenure with LMA in He supports and manages the in-house computer and telephone networks and is presently working toward Microsoft and Cisco certifications.

Doug attended Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, studying Business Administration and Music. Before coming to LMA he worked in the banking and manufacturing industries. Doug resides in Olathe with his loving wife and two beautiful sons. In his personal time he is involved in church, sports, scouting and school activities with his family and plays in a jazz group as time permits.

Dan is a recent graduate of Kansas State University where he earned his B. Dan will be learning the accounting system and assisting in the finance department with investments and special projects while working towards earning his CPA and CFA designations.

Dan was president of Delta Tau Delta fraternity during his time at K-State and remains involved with his fraternity as an assistant chapter advisor. Chelsea is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law. Prior to joining LMA, Chelsea worked at the Kansas Department of Agriculture, first as the Communications Director and then as a Staff Attorney specializing in animal health law and policy. A Parker, Colorado native, Chelsea comes from a beef industry background and is passionate about agriculture.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys live music, K-State sports, and spending time with friends and family. Jara grew up on a purebred cattle operation in Hoskins, Nebraska. Ernie has been practicing law since He has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

He is admitted to practice before the courts of the state of Missouri, the U. District Court—Western District of Missouri, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Ernie has written articles and been a seminar speaker on agricultural law topics for The Missouri Bar and the American Agricultural Law Association.

In addition, he is the author of a chapter on the marketing of farm products in a farm law book published by The Missouri Bar. He is a retired Commander in the U.

In , Christine was promoted to Region Administrator. A few years later she added the state of Texas to her territory. She is currently managing Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, and Texas. In , she became Co-Manager of the insurance agency. Before coming to Livestock Marketing Insurance Agency she worked as a supervisor in Trust Operations at Commerce Trust Company and as a supervisor at Van Kampen Mutual Funds. She joined LMIA in as an Assistant Region Administrator and obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance License.

MiDonna was promoted to Region Administrator in April and currently handles Colorado, part of Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Nora is a Kansas City native who graduated from Baker University with a Bachelors degree in Business. While attending college and upon graduation, she worked for Kansas City Life Insurance Co.

In she joined LMIA as Bond Administrator. A few years later she added the states of Florida and Georgia. Beverly Trump started her insurance career in as an Insurance Broker for Trump Insurance Agency. She joined the staff of Livestock Marketing Insurance Agency in January as a Region Bond Administrator. Beverly was promoted to Region Administrator in and currently is responsible for the states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas. Lindsay Graber Runft is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Livestock Marketing Association.

Graber graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Science degree in agricultural communications.

While at Texas Tech, she completed media market research relevant to farmers and ranchers. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Kansas State University with dual majors of animal sciences and industry and agricultural communications and journalism. Originally from south-central Kansas, Graber Runft is a fifth-generation cattle producer. Kristen Parman is a native of Buffalo, Missouri, where she was raised in the livestock and livestock marketing industry.

Growing up on a commercial cow-calf operation in southwest Missouri, working with the family livestock trucking company and the local livestock auction market has given her a well rounded view of the livestock industry and the importance of seeing an issue or service from the perspective of all sizes of operations. A graduate of Missouri State University, she spent time with LMA as an intern in the membership services department before earning her Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business.

Following graduation, Kristen returned to LMA to assume the role of Membership Services Coordinator. In , she was appointed Vice President Membership Services. Cathy grew up on a small farm in southwest Iowa and is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business.

That same year she joined LMA as the coordinator for the Agribase Communications Network ACN.

Cathy is now a key team member on multiple LMA member services including the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship, LMAAuctions. Mitch was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He has lived in Kansas and Missouri most of his life from the bustling cities, to the suburbs of the Ozarks, and on the small farms of his family. Mitch is excited to expand upon the next chapter in his life by bringing his technical background to LMA and working with the members of Livestock Marketing Association.

Mitch and his wife, Alexzandrea, reside in Kansas City and enjoy spending time in nature. In , she earned an MBA in Management Information Systems from alma mater Avila University, Kansas City, Missouri. Currently, she serves LMA as Vice President of the Livestock Marketing Insurance Agency, Inc. She is married to Alex Aiman and has twin daughters Alexis and Madison Aiman.

Garner spent most of her career in the legal profession, as a legal secretary, paralegal and office manager before returning to work for LMA a second time in where she served as assistant to the then CEO of LMA.

For the past 4 years, she has served as a Business Information Officer of the Livestock Board of Trade. Garner has a B. Both degrees are in Agricultural Education. Joe has a strong background in commercial beef production; he has worked in varying capacities at several large feedyards and conducted carcass research in packing plants across the United States.

In his spare time, Joe and his wife, Kristin enjoy watching Texas Tech football, spending time outdoors with their dogs, and grilling or smoking BBQ with friends and family. Roy Barta is a native of Nebraska and attended Chadron State College. Roy worked briefly with the Maywood Cooperative in North Platte as a Facilities Manager and Assistant Grain Originator before joining the LMA family in Roy now resides in North Platte along with his wife and represents LMA and its members in the states of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Born in Mississippi, Carter grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating from Mississippi State University in he returned as third generation to the family livestock market. Jim now resides in Walls, Mississippi, and represents LMA and its members in the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee. When he is home, Jim enjoys outdoor activities, which include working on his small farm, hunting, and fishing.

In January of , he started work for Jim Schwertner and Capitol Land and Livestock; a large livestock dealership in Central Texas. Jesse began his career as yard manager for Capitol and then spent 9 years as a buyer purchasing stocker and feeder cattle at daily auctions across Texas and Oklahoma. In August of , he joined LMA as a region executive officer representing LMA and its members in Louisiana and Texas. He feels that the lessons learned as a buyer help him to better relate to market owners and livestock dealers within his region.

Jesse currently resides in Montgomery, Texas, with his wife and son where he enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking and maintaining a stocker and feeder cattle operation.

Terry Chapman was born and raised in Haskell, Texas. In November , Terry joined LMA as a region executive officer and currently represents LMA and is members in Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Terry and his wife Ruth make their home in Norman, Oklahoma. Terry and Ruth have two daughters, Haylee and Caroline. John Kissee is a Missouri native who grew up in a marketing family that goes back four generations.

He currently represents LMA and its members in the Atlantic Seaboard from Florida to Maine. John is married with three children and four grandchildren and lives in Woodstock, Georgia. Forrest Mangan is a California native. Forrest grew up in a small town in north central California before attending San Joaquin Delta College.

Transferring to Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, he graduated with a degree in Agribusiness with a concentration in International Management. Following graduation, Forrest was employed by the Cal Poly Animal Science Department where he served as the Livestock Judging Coach and was a part-time lecturer. Forrest joined LMA in and currently resides in California; representing LMA and it membership in the states of Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
