It appears Amazon has chosen to change to the Walmart method of releasing very limited number of units every so many minutes.

The other option is to just add items from trusted retailers such as Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy. Since inventory at Walmart and other more reliable retailers has been non-existent, I reactivated Sears and Kmart.

Just keep in mind these two sites are run by Sears. Their inventory system has some major flaws which results in their front-ends displaying incorrect info. So bad, I disabled them earlier from sending alerts. Also, if you think Walmart had limited inventory We've never seen a batch released and more error time than correct time at displaying inventory.

Also, I would not fully trust either of these sites to deliver in the end. Many, many people have been burned in the past with orders being cancelled. I would use these two sites as a backup plan until your console is in hand. Some are reporting the Target app is the way to place orders for the PS4. While this may be true, it is NOT the ONLY way.

The same can be had on the website The app and website are served from the same source it appears. The app just happens to show that you're able to pre-order all the time, which is incorrect. We were hitting the same info as the app, and had to change because it was incorrect The website will redirect you if units are not available.

In the end, the Walmart process is still more reliable. Target and Kmart are reactivated. I am aware of the issues surrounding Target and they are not totally false. Some people are able to get orders in, while others, like myself, see a generic video game landing page, a Katie Perry album page, or some other garbage.

But people have been able to get orders in today. I am going to test it for a while and decide from there. Best bet is to keep trying.
